Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data RecallPulse accesses, collects, uses and shares when you use the RecallPulse Android app (com.recallpulse.app), the RecallPulse Business dashboard at app.recallpulse.in and this website, recallpulse.in. It also explains how long we keep data, how to delete it and how to reach us. It is published under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Contents

1. At a glance

  • RecallPulse never records calls.
  • Your call log, contacts, notes, tags, groups, reminders and voice memos stay on your phone. We cannot see them.
  • When you sign in, we receive your Google email address and basic device details so we can run your account, trial and plan.
  • If you join your company’s RecallPulse Business and accept the sharing agreement, details of calls on the one work SIM you choose go to your company’s dashboard. Nothing from other SIMs is shared.
  • The Free plan shows Google ads. Premium Plus users and Business reps see none.
  • We use Google Firebase for usage statistics and crash reports. They never contain phone numbers, names or anything you write or record.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • You can delete your account at any time — see section 12.

2. Who we are

RecallPulse is operated by Jeegar Shantibhai Goyani, a sole proprietor trading as RecallPulse, Plot No. 1257/3, Near Mangala Mata Mandir, Ambawadi, Krishna Nagar, Bhavnagar, Gujarat 364001, India. In this policy “RecallPulse”, “we” and “us” mean this business. Contact: connect@recallpulse.in or +91 76218 27682.

For Free and Premium Plus, we decide how your account data is used. For RecallPulse Business, the organisation that buys the plan decides how its team’s shared call data is used, and we process that data on its behalf.

3. Data that stays on your phone

RecallPulse works on your phone. The following is read and stored only on your device and is never sent to us, except for the Business sharing described in section 8:

  • Your call log: numbers, names, date, time, duration, call type and SIM
  • Your contacts: names, numbers and photos, used to show who called
  • Notes, tags, groups, favourites and reminders you create
  • Voice memos you record, saved as audio files on your phone
  • Your Block List, Active Hours settings and the reports you create

A manual backup is a file saved on your phone. Premium Plus cloud backup saves to your own Google Drive (section 6). We cannot read either.

Permission
Call log
What RecallPulse uses it for
To list your calls, open the after-call sheet, and build Home, Analytics, Active Hours and reports. RecallPulse reads your call log only while it is your default phone app, or while your phone is linked to a RecallPulse Business organisation. The call log is read on your phone.

Default phone app. If you choose RecallPulse as your default phone app, it handles your incoming and outgoing calls, shows the call screen and missed-call alerts, and uses Android’s own blocked-numbers list. You can switch back any time in Android Settings › Apps › Default apps; RecallPulse then stops reading your call log unless your phone is linked to a Business organisation.

6. Google Sign-In and Google Drive

You sign in with your Google account. RecallPulse receives your email address and a Google account identifier to confirm who you are. We never receive your Google password.

Premium Plus cloud backup asks for access to your Google Drive that is limited to files RecallPulse creates (Google’s “drive.file” permission). Backups go to a “RecallPulse Backups” folder in your own Drive. RecallPulse cannot see your other Drive files, and the backups are never sent to us.

RecallPulse’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove RecallPulse’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Ads, usage statistics and crash reports

Ads. The Free plan shows ads from Google AdMob: small banners, an occasional full-screen ad, and an optional short video before a manual backup. Premium Plus users and reps linked to a Business organisation see no ads, and no ads appear in the first 12 hours after you install. Google may use your advertising ID, IP address, approximate location and device information to choose and measure ads. We never use or share your calls, contacts, notes, tags or memos for ads.

Your ad choices. In the EEA and UK, Google asks for your consent first, and you can change it later in the app under Settings › Ad privacy choices. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and limit ad personalisation in your phone’s Android settings. Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Usage statistics and crash reports. RecallPulse uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to see which features are used and to fix crashes. The advertising features of Firebase Analytics are turned off. Events carry labels and counts only — never phone numbers, names, call details, notes or memos.

8. RecallPulse Business: work-SIM sharing

Sharing starts only when you join an organisation, choose one work SIM and accept the sharing agreement shown in the app. RecallPulse then sends your organisation, for calls on that SIM only:

  • the other person’s number, and their name as saved in your contacts
  • date, time, duration, direction (incoming or outgoing) and whether the call connected
  • the outcome tag and note you add, and whether a voice memo exists — never the audio

So your manager can see whose app needs attention, RecallPulse also sends device health every few hours while you are linked: which RecallPulse permissions are on, battery and background settings, whether RecallPulse is your phone app, whether the work SIM is in the phone, the upload queue, the last sync time, and how many calls and contacts are on the phone (counts only). When you join, it also sends the slot, carrier, number and verification status of your phone’s SIMs so you can choose the work SIM. We keep a record of the agreement you accepted.

Never shared: calls on any other SIM, your contact list, call or memo audio, messages, photos and location. On a single-SIM phone, the app warns you that every call on it would be shared. The app shows you exactly what is shared, and you can leave the organisation at any time — sharing stops immediately. Calls you already shared stay in your organisation’s records under its retention setting (section 11).

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to a court or a government agency with legal authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If RecallPulse is sold or merged, your data moves with it under this policy and we will tell you beforehand.

10. Where data is stored and how we protect it

Our servers and database are hosted by Railway in the United States (California). Your account data and, for Business, your work-SIM call data are processed there.

  • All traffic between the app, the dashboard and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Dashboard passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and every dashboard account must use two-factor authentication.
  • Each organisation’s data is kept separate in the database, and each phone uses its own access token.
  • Access to production systems is limited to the operator, and important actions are written to an audit log.
  • Card and UPI details are handled by Cashfree, never by us.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

  • Without the app: email connect@recallpulse.in from the Google account you use in RecallPulse, with the subject “Delete my RecallPulse account”.

We confirm by email and delete your account, device records, trial and plan within 30 days. We keep payment records and invoices for 8 years because tax law requires it, and a short note that the deletion was done. If you were a Business rep, the calls you already shared belong to your organisation’s records; ask your organisation’s owner, or us, to delete them. Step-by-step details are on our Delete your account page.

To remove data on your phone, uninstall RecallPulse or clear its storage in Android settings. To remove cloud backups, delete the “RecallPulse Backups” folder from your Google Drive.

13. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it
  • ask us to delete it (section 12)
  • withdraw your consent — for example, leaving your organisation in the app stops work-SIM sharing at once
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to
  • complain to our Grievance Officer (section 15) and then to the Data Protection Board of India

Email connect@recallpulse.in from the address linked to your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we respond within 30 days.
